Our commitment to safe, responsible and high-quality tutoring for every student.
Accelerate Tutors is committed to protecting children and young people and to providing a safe, respectful and professional learning environment. Safeguarding checks and quality standards apply before a tutor is approved for student allocation.
Tutors may submit their safeguarding evidence with their registration or during verification. UK tutors must provide a police report or DBS certificate issued within the previous 12 months. USA tutors must provide current state or federal background-check evidence, or an equivalent safeguarding document required for their location.
Safeguarding evidence is required before approval or appointment and may be requested again when renewal or updated verification is necessary.
Tutors are expected to maintain professional boundaries, communicate respectfully, protect student privacy, follow lesson and portal procedures, and report any safeguarding concern promptly to the Accelerate Tutors administration.
Parents and students should use the agreed communication channels, attend lessons safely, protect portal credentials and report concerns or inappropriate conduct immediately.
